Divisions

Lakehill Soccer offers soccer development from early learning to adult competitive play.  Players can start as young as 4 yrs old and some senior players continue to play over the age of 65yrs.

Coaching and player development is aligned to Soccer Canada's Long Term Player Development Model with the goals of promoting lifelong enjoyment of the sport, providing structured player development pathways and best practices for grassroots to elite player development, and create long-term excellence.

At Lakehill Soccer, age groups are divided as follows:

Youth Teams

Sandblasters (Under 5 yrs old / Under 6 yrs old):  structured soccer play once a week, Saturday noon. 

U7/8 - Under 7 yrs old / Under 8 yrs old:  1 practice a week, in-house games on Saturday mornings. Game format is 3v3 or 4v4 on a small-sided field.

U9/10 - Under 8 yrs old / Under 8 yrs old:  1 practice + 1 development night per week. In-house team play on Saturday mornings.  Game format is 6 v 6 on 1/3 field.

U11 - Under 11 yrs.:   1 practice + 1 development night per week. Play in the Lower Island soccer league on Saturday mornings.  Score results are not kept/no league standings.  Game format is 8 v 8 on 1/2 field.

U12 - Under 12 yrs.: Teams are further divided by player skill level (Gold/Silver)  1 practice + 1 development night per week.  Play in the Lower Island Soccer league on Saturday mornings. Score results are not kept/no league standings. Game format is 8 v 8 on 1/2 field.

U13-18  - Under 18yrs - U13 yrs.  Play Lower Island soccer sanctioned full-field games.  2 practices per week (U13-15 -- one practice is a development night).   Games players Saturdays,  U18 on Sundays.

Senior Teams

Senior Men compete in the Vancouver Island Soccer League and the South Vancouver Island Classics' Soccer Association.  Games are scheduled Friday Night thru Sunday afternoon.   Teams practice twice a week.  

Mens Teams:   Div 1, Div 2, Div 3, Div 4C, Over-35s, Over-55s

Senior Women compete in the Lower Island Women's Soccer Association.  Games are scheduled Friday Night thru Sunday afternoon.  Teams practice twice a week.

Womens Teams:  Div 1, Div 2, Div 3, Over-30s
