2018 Terry Price Cup ChampsIt has been a great season for our club senior women's teams that play in the Lower Island Women's Soccer Association!

On March 18, Lakehill Premier Women defeated Saanich Fusion Premier 1-0 to win the Terry Price Cup, emblematic of Premier Women's Soccer. And a few hours later, the Lakehill Division 1 Women defeated Bays United 2-0 to capture the Doug Day Cup. This is a great accomplishment for both of our top tier women's teams and no one can remember this happening before at the same time! Both teams have also qualified for Provincials.

The Division 2 Women's team also had a very successful season, though their Shergold Cup run was cut just short by a loss to Gorge in the semi-finals. And still up for grabs is the Frank Leversedge Cup, in which the Lakehill Division 3 Women will take on Salt Spring and Lochside Turf this Sunday (kickoff at 2 PM). Good luck to the Div3's as they look to win the club's third trophy of the spring.

No matter the outcome, this has certainly been a banner year for women's soccer at Lakehill. Congratulations to all of our senior women! But the planning has already started for next year. Graduating u18 players or anyone over 18 looking for a competitive side for the 2018/19 season should contact one of our club coaches listed on the Senior Teams page.
